Specifications include, but are not limited to: APS Special Education Division is seeking qualified agencies or organizations (no individuals) toprovide Occupational and Physical Therapy Service as needed by the district. All contractor serviceassignments are issued directly by the SpecialEducation Department in accord with vendoravailability and student needs. Contractors will determine how many hours they are available to workper day/per week and will submit a statement of such availability to the APS Special EducationDepartment. The APS Special Education Department will then propose a service schedule to thecontractor for her/his approval. Design and implement therapy service or evaluations, includingteacher consultation services and home programs, appropriate to meet the need of the individualstudents as determined by the Individualized Education Programs (IBP) Committee for each studentfor whom service is provided according to the state and federal regulations and within professional ethicsfor Occupational Therapy Services.•Perform Occupational and Physical Therapy Service in accord with the applicable standard ofcare;•Complete federal and state documentation governing the provision of, and payment for,vendors' services.
