Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of New Mexico (UNM or the University) will be accepting Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”, “CMAR Contractor or “CM at Risk”) Construction Delivery Services qualification statements from licensed and experienced construction firms interested in providing CMAR services for the facility expansion and renovation of the International Interprofessional Healthcare Simulation Center (IHSC) located within Building 200- Domenici Center North Wing located at 1001 Stanford Dr. NE Albuquerque, NM 87106. The project includes planning, programming, design, and construction of a 5000-square-foot expansion and renovation of the current center. The project must meet or exceed all State and Federal building codes and requirements, including applicable regulatory agencies. The specific requirements for the expansion are as follows: • New simulation space to include acute care simulation and physical therapy (PT) gym • Incorporation of the SimiQ system for designated spaces • New debriefing space • Expanded storage opportunities; The selected vendor will collaborate with the owner, contractor, and other consultants throughout the entire project, from initiation to completion. The awarded vendor will conduct a site analysis and develop a program for the project, prepare conceptual drawings and renderings, schematic drawings and specifications, and construction documents that incorporate: • New possible interior and exterior finishes • New possible lighting and electrical systems to include special systems such as IT, Life Safety, and AV. • New HVAC system as well as possibly new plumbing • New possible landscaping, parking, and or loading areas;
