Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Oregon, on behalf of its School of Music and Dance (“University”), is issuing this Alternative Procurement (“AP”) to procure travel services for its Chamber Choir group; The University of Oregon’s Chamber Choir has been invited to participate in the 13th World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand in July 2024. The group will include thirty-two (32) students, two (2) University staff members, one (1) conductor, and a group of 10 to 20 patrons. Travel will begin on July 13, 2024 and last 12-14 days; dates and travel length is subject to change. 2.3.1. Students and Staff Group. 2.3.1.1. Number of participants: Approx. 32 students, 1 conductor, 2 staff members; 2.3.1.2. Round trip air transportation by scheduled carrier between Eugene or Portland, Oregon and Auckland, New Zealand. Arrive in Auckland no later than July 15, 2024 and return to Eugene or Portland around July 26, 2024; 2.3.1.3. Pre-departure briefing and assistance at airport check-in for the groups; 2.3.1.4. All taxes, gratuity, and service charges normally payable for services included in this itinerary; 2.3.1.5. Student lodging in tourist class hotels, sharing twin-bedded rooms with private bathrooms. Lodging from July 15, 2024 to July 20, 2024 must be included and coordinated through the World Choir Games as it is a requirement of the festival organization. 2.3.1.6. Conductor and staff lodging in single rooms with private baths near the student housing. Lodging from July 15, 2024 to July 20, 2024 must be included and coordinated through the World Choir Games as it is a requirement of the festival organization.
