Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The selected Architect will be required to retain and be responsible for all basic engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and structural engineering as appropriate for the Scope of Work. B. Work shall meet all codes and specifications required by the City of Cleburne and Johnson County and adhere to local laws and regulations. 1. Responsibilities will include assisting Johnson County in determining the requirements of each project. 2. An analysis with recommendations will include all aspects of construction including sprinklers systems, electrical requirements, fire alarm equipment, HVAC and all other areas related to each project. 3. The chosen architect will work closely with Johnson County Facilities Management and the Purchasing Department to achieve the most effective and economical design related to each project. C. In addition, the chosen architect will be required to perform the following functions. 1. Compile and review project related information. A. Drawings, land surveys, other owner documents, Local Government Codes, regulations and ordinances. B. Applicable building and planning standards. C. Relevant historical documents and archival materials.
