Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 One (1) Tape Library PowerVault TL1000- [Dellstar_11595] or equivalent 3.1.1.1 Tape Library must handle tapes from entry to exit fully automatically storing and loading tapes in the tape drive as needed or directed by the operator. 3.1.1.2 Tape Library must support encryption. 3.1.1.3 Tape Library must be Rack Mountable and include rails for mounting. 3.1.1.4 Tape Library must have a barcode reader for automatic reading tape labels. 3.1.1.5 Tape Library must support firmware updates for all applicable components. 3.1.1.6 Tape Library must have capacity for 9 tapes or more. 3.1.1.7 Tape Library must have a Network interface with Ethernet RJ-45 and be 1GB/s data transfer speed or greater. 3.1.1.8 Tape Library must have an operator control panel and a remote web management system with the following functions: 3.1.1.8.1 Display system status information. 3.1.1.8.2 Option to run system diagnostics. 3.1.1.8.3 Option to check and set system settings. 3.1.1.8.4 Option to verify tape drive operation. 3.1.1.8.5 Option to run an inventory of tapes. 3.1.1.8.6 Option to add or remove tapes from the library. 3.1.1.9 Tape Library must have at least one tape drive compatible with LTO8 tapes or equal. 3.1.1.10 Tape Library must have a DELL two-year limited hardware warranty or equivalent. 3.1.1.11 Tape Library must have SAS drive 6Gb Port Dell HBA355e Adapter or equal. HBA must be compatible with the tape library and cables. 3.1.1.12 Tape Library must include 6Gb SAS cable of a minimum of 2 meters in length, SAS cable compatible with connecting the tape drive to the HBA. 3.1.1.13 Alternatives may be offered but the specifications must be equal to or greater than the Dellstar_11595 with the minimum specifications listed in sections 3.1.1.1 through 3.1.1.12. 3.1.1.14 Tape library must be New and cannot be used and/or refurbished. 3.1.2 Four (4) Dell LTO8 tape media of Five (5) pack or equivalent for a total of Twenty (20) blank tapes. 3.1.2.1 Tape Media must be compatible with the tape library in this RFQ. 3.1.2.2 Tape Media must hold a minimum of 12TB of information. 3.1.2.3 Tape Media must be nonvolatile memory withstands passive radio frequency. 3.1.2.4 Tape Media must contain a tape directory to enable quick search for data sets. 3.1.2.5 Tape media must be fault tolerant such that if the tape directory is corrupt then the tape should be readable to recover any uncorrupted information available on the tape. 3.1.2.6 Tape media must have a label with human readable serial number and a bar code the tape library can read for the same serial number. 3.1.3 One (1) Dell Tape Drive Cleaning Cartridge or Equivalent 3.1.3.1 Tape Cleaning Cartridge must be compatible with the tape library in this RFQ. 3.1.4 Tape Library Support 3.1.4.1 Tape Library Support must include DELL ProSupport Plus Mission Critical 4-hour response available 24 hours a day 7 days a week with emergency dispatch for two years or equivalent. 3.1.4.1.1 Include predictive shipments of parts for replacing parts before they fail as is possible to predict. 3.1.4.1.2 Must Include parts replacement shipped overnight for unexpected failures. 3.1.4.2 Tape Library Support must include DELL ProSupport Plus, 4-hour response time available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week Tech Support or equivalent.
