Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Angelo Regional Airport – Mathis Field at 8618 Terminal Circle, a property owned and managed by the City of San Angelo, is requesting bids to replace twenty-one (21) roof mounted HVAC units (Heat Pump and Air Conditioning) of various capacities, system controllers, notifiers, and building automation control interface with associated software and hardware. City may add or decrease the amount of HVAC units. Contractor is required to use a licensed electrician for all electrical work during removal and installation. Work shall include required permits and inspections per the installation. Contractor shall coordinate with City representatives as needed to minimize downtime to the offices/public spaces each unit services. Contractor will work with City representatives for street/lanes closure to facilitate safe completion of this work. Contractor will work with Airport Director to file a 7460-1 ‘Airspace Study’ prior to construction. Specifics of each unit are attached to this bid invitation. Contractor shall: • Remove existing units and appropriate parts and connections as necessary. • Protect roof surface and sides of building during the project. • Keep in place pipe supports for insulated supply and return lines. • Install new units and test to ensure proper operation. • Be responsible for all electrical work to disconnect and reconnect units to power; a licensed electrician is required. Replacement units must have power disconnects mounted to units. • Install new system controllers. • Install new ‘open ended’ automation system in airport badging office including all hardware, and software needed to fully operate the system.
