Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work includes the following: • Demolish the foundation, basement, private sidewalks, steps, and driveway concrete behind the city sidewalks. • Demolish the concrete driveway between the curb and sidewalk. • Remove all demolished material from the site. • Dispose of the material in accordance with applicable regulations. • Remove all bushes, stumps, trees, and landscaping within the lot, except for sod and tree listed as bid alternate. • Remove the power pole on the east side of the lot, after it is disconnected by Rocky Mountain Power. • Remove the clothesline. • Excavate, cap, and backfill the sewer service behind the curb. • Excavate, cap, and backfill the water service behind the sidewalk. • Backfill and compact the foundation excavation and other excavations with pit run material up to the elevation of the surrounding ground. • Bid Alternate #1: Provide a bid for removal and disposal of the 6 trees/tree stumps on Beehive Credit Union property. See Figure 1. • Bid Alternate #2: Provide a bid for removal and disposal of the large tree/tree stump on the south side of the house. See Figure 1. Work not included: • The house and attached garage will be removed by others before the Bidder’s work begins. This is anticipated to be completed before September 30, 2023. • The city water department will turn off the water to the building and remove the meter. • The city will contact utility companies for utility disconnections. • The sidewalks running parallel to the city streets within the city right-of-way will remain in place and shall be retained and protected by the contractor during all work. • Removal of sod. • The vinyl fence will be removed by others prior to the bidder’s work.
