Specifications include, but are not limited to: Kansas Adjutant Generals / Division of Emergency Management seeks competitive bids for Animal Decontamination Training. The Kansas Division of Emergency Management, Kansas Citizen Corps program, is planning to sponsor two animal decontamination trainings in the State in 2023. These trainings will need to cover decontamination of household pets, companion large animals, and cattle for decontamination from natural disasters such as floods and wildfires and radiological decontamination. The most desired administration of these courses would be a hybrid virtual course with a hands-on classroom style training and exercise for completion. Sessions for 2023 are planned to be administered in the northeast and north central regions of the state. It is desired that courses be planned for 40 students in each region.
