Specifications include, but are not limited to: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the Construction of the New Senior Center Parking Lot Surfacing and Street Rehabilitation, Walnut Grove, Mississippi will be received by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen at Town Hall, 139 Main Street, Walnut Grove Mississippi 39189 until 6:00 PM (Local Time) September 5, 2023, and shortly thereafter will be publically opened and read aloud during the Town Board meeting. The work consists of the construction of a crushed a 2‐inch asphalt surface for the New Senior Center Parking Lot, striping, with add alternate bids for the base repair and 1‐1/2 inch asphalt surface overlay of several Town Streets the construction of crushed limestone additional parking as described in the Scope of work. Project includes the fine grading to facilitate positive drainage of the new crushed limestone parking areas, disposal of any excess excavated materials, Parking Lot Striping, and final project cleanup.
