Specifications include, but are not limited to: RVCOG proposes to address fish passage concerns from 3 barriers located in Bear Creek in Medford. Thebarriers are one obsolete irrigation structure (weirs – structure #1), a collection of flow-impeding rubble(structure #2), and one abandoned utility line (structure #3) from the Bear Creek stream channel.Providing fish passage would restore access to 8 miles of aquatic habitat upstream and improve fishpassage. This project has been endorsed by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), OregonDepartment of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW), the Rogue River Valley Irrigation District (RRVID), the Cityof Medford, and the Rogue River Watershed Council, among many other community members
