Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Awarded Bidder shall complete the installation of 1,200 bus stop signs within 12 months from the dispatched Purchase Order. The Awarded Bidder shall provide updates, timelines and project status to the Transit Department upon request. The Awarded Bidder shall furnish signs, installation hardware and installation as follows: A. Furnish Signs 1. Provide bus stop “Head” signs: a. See Attachment A for details. b. 18” x 19.5" high-intensity retroreflective (type IV or better rated for 10 year minimum service life) sign with UV-protective transparent overlay, 2 sided, on 0.080" aluminum. c. Three (3) 3/8” holes pre-drilled to align with 1.5” wide Telespar poles (see below section on installation) with 7/16” perforations on 1” centers. d. Bid quantity: One thousand two hundred (1,200) identical signs. e. Options for additions: Additional signs may be purchased in sets of no less than 50 signs per order. 2. Provide bus stop ”Route” signs: a. See Attachment B for details. b. 4.5” x 30" high-intensity retroreflective (type IV or better rated for 10 year minimum service life) sign with UV-protective transparent overlay, 2 sided, on 0.080" aluminum. c. Two (2) 3/8” holes pre-drilled 3” apart and 11.25” from the left end to align with 1.5” Telespar poles (owner-supplied) with 7/16” perforations on 1” centers. d. Different text and colors for signs (“camera-ready” artwork will be provided for printing): ▪ White letters/numbers on turquoise background. See Attachment B for details. • Bid quantity: One thousand four hundred fifty signs (1,450) signs total for 13 routes (approximately 40 to 150 identical signs for each route).
