Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking bids for Luminaire Poles. Provide steel luminaire poles with galvanized finish, suitable for all of the mountings shown in the pole detail: anchor base, transformer breakaway or bolt coupling breakaway. Design and fabricate luminaire poles with base plate anchor bolt holes slotted to accommodate anchor bolt circles of 12 1/4" minimum to 14 1/2" maximum and 1" diameter anchor bolts. Provide luminaire poles with 40' luminaire mounting height and 15' luminaire mast arm, with the mast arm connection matching the 3-bolt attachment in the luminaire pole detail. Provide luminaire poles without anchor bolts or anchor bolt couplings. Include mast arm connection hardware, pole top cover and handhole cover and ground attachment hardware with each pole. All costs associated with the transportation of the luminaire poles from the point of fabrication to each final destination are to be absorbed in the bid price for each standard. There will not be a separate bid item for the delivery of the traffic signal standards.
