Specifications include, but are not limited to: Approximately 4’ of existing sidewalk will need to be maintained to the front access of each business during construction. Also, an ADA accessible route from a side street sidewalk to this pedestrian walk will need to be maintained during business hours. The Contractor is allowed to make any reasonable accommodation as determined by the Engineer to provide this ADA accessible route. Any underground work under this ADA route including the replacement of the existing sidewalk will need to be accomplished after business hours and before the next days opening. The crossing at F Street is access for the school. This must be maintained with stable foothold (such as plywood over grass) access throughout school session, one hour before school to one hour after school, while school is in session.
