Specifications include, but are not limited to: A privately owned mobile home park known as Royal Pine Villa is accepting proposals for substantial improvements to the potable water system serving the housing community. The water system is a Public Community Water System. Brief summary of the scope of work: Removal of pump house #1 and improvements to Well #1’s wellhead and pump replacement. New waterlines from Well #1 and Well #2 to new pump house. Two new, buried reservoir tanks. Interior plumbing in pump house including booster pumps, pressure tanks, chlorination, and valving. New distribution waterlines from pump house to the existing distribution network. Water system must remain in operation during project to continue to serve the residents. All system shutdowns to complete the work must be coordinated with the owner and system operator 72 hours in advance. Contractor shall be responsible for providing bottled water to residents in the event that the water system is non-operational for longer than 12 hours. A Public Water System Construction Permit has been issued for the project by the State of Vermont. Additional environmental and land use permits are pending. Project is being funded through the federal American Rescue Plan Act and State of Vermont’s Healthy Homes Manufactured Housing Communities program.
