Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Fifty (50) Fabricated Steel Plates. Vendor must fabricate and deliver one (1) Steel to match the following specifications to Building 6 and get approval from the project manager prior to fabrication remaining plates. 3.1.1.1 Finished Plates must be 22" wide by 48" Long by 1/4" Thick. 3.1.1.2 Plates must have two pieces of 1/4" square stock welded to the bottoms to align and help hold the plates over the trench. 3.1.1.3 Plates must have one end with a piece of flat bar for an ear to help hold and lock each plate to the adjoining plate, and a hole on the other end for lifting. 3.1.1.4 Plates must be sandblasted to SSPC-SP10 near white finish and painted on both sides to prevent rust, Paint must be two coats of Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 646 (or equal) at 10-16 mils. Finished color must be black.
