Specifications include, but are not limited to: The L-861T LED fixtures shall conform to the requirements of FAA Advisory Circular 150/5345-46 (current edition) “Specification for Runway and Taxiway Light Fixtures” and “FAA Engineering Brief No. 67 “Light Sources other than Incandescent and Xenon for Airport Lighting and Obstruction Lighting Fixtures.” The L-861T LED fixture shall be ETL certified. The L-861T LED fixtures shall be the “ETES” fixture as manufactured by ADB SAFEGATE (www.adbsafegate.com) or approved equal. EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED. L-861T LED fixtures shall be supplied for the total quantity. Each lot shipment of fixtures shall include one Instruction Manual. It shall be possible to download additional manuals from the manufacturer’s web site. L-861T LED FIXTURE. The light source shall be an electroluminescent diode assembly. To insure reliability, a single LED shall be used in the light source. The lifetime of the LED shall be a minimum of 56,000 hours at full intensity and more than 150,000 hours in actual operating conditions. To insure optimum daytime visibility, the optical emitting lens shall use aviation blue glass.
