Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 EXAMINATION A. Verify correct spacing of and between plumbing fixtures. B. Verify correct location of built-in framing, anchorage, and bracing. 3.2 INSTALLATION A. Install partitions secure, rigid, plumb, and level in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. B. Maintain 3/8 to 1/2 inch space between wall and panels and between wall and end pilasters. C. Attach panel brackets securely to walls using anchor devices. D. Attach panels and pilasters to brackets with tamper proof through bolts and nuts. Locate head rail joints at pilaster center lines. E. Provide adjustment for floor variations with screw jack through steel saddles integral with pilaster. Conceal floor fastenings with pilaster shoes. F. Support pilasters from built-in framing using two adjustable hanging studs providing vertical leveling. Conceal ceiling fastenings with pilaster shoe. G. Equip each door with two hinges, one door latch, one coat hook and bumper; outswinging door with pull. H. Install door strike and keeper with door bumper on each pilaster in alignment with door latch. I. Replace damaged or scratched materials with new materials. 3.3 ERECTION TOLERANCES A. Maximum Variation From True Position: 1/4 inch. B. Maximum Variation From Plumb: 1/8 inch. 3.4 ADJUSTING A. Adjust and align hardware to uniform clearance at vertical edge of doors, not exceeding 3/16 inch. B. Adjust hinges to position doors in open position when unlatched. Return outswinging doors to closed position. C. Adjust adjacent components for consistency of line or plane. TOILET AND BATH ACCESSORY SCHEDULE (Install All Handicap Accessories per 2010 ADAAG Requirements) A. Grab Bars (Two Sets Total): Install at handicap water closet, mount 36 inches A.F.F. to centerline. Bradley #812-001-36 and #812-001-42 or equivalent. B. Surface-Mounted Sanitary Napkin disposal (Two Total): Shall be type 304 stainless steel with satin finish; all-welded construction. Cover shall have an integral handle and sloping top and shall be secured to the container with a full-length stainless-steel piano-hinge. Bradley #4722-15 or equal. C. Mirror: Shall be 1/4 inch thick frameless with 1 1/2 inch beveled edges. Provide nickel plated beveled mirror clip set for mounting. Quantities: (2)74”x45”. Fab Glass and Mirror LLC or equal. Mount 40” a.f.f to bottom of reflective glass surface.
