Specifications include, but are not limited to: he Port Authority is undertaking a project to replace the Authority’s enterprise financial reporting and budgeting system with a new EPM solution. The Authority’s existing system is an Oracle-Hyperion product (version 11.2.7) consisting of Planning, Essbase Analytics, and BI reporting. This system is on premise and interfaces with the Authority’s SAP R/3 ERP system for financial accounting and performance and PeopleSoft for position and salary information. The existing Oracle-Hyperion system was implemented over 20 years ago, and as such, its ability to manage Budget Planning processes and Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) has been increasingly challenged by the advanced analytics needed to manage business performance today. Further, it has not kept pace with the organization and end-users’ evolving business needs and requirements.
