Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.The State of Vermont is interested in obtaining bids to meet the following business need(s): 2.2.Without notification from the State, the Contractor will plow all snowfall of two inches or more, or at the end of each snow fall. 2.3.Snow may need to be moved around the site, pushed up with a loader, or removed from the site. When the snow needs to be hauled from the site, the contractor will need to dispose of it properly. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to have a location where snow can be disposed. Please fill out the bid “Price Schedule” for the equipment you will be using to perform these services. Where applicable, the driver/operator must be CDL certified. 2.4.Snow removal services for these sites will be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At no time should there be more than 4 inches of snow on the parking lots or driveway areas, unless otherwise noted. 2.5.Sidewalks, building entryways, and emergency exits shall be cleared by the contractor after hours or as requested by the contract coordinator at any site. Special attention/care may be needed at locations where pedestrian traffic is increased to and from parking lots and building entrances/sidewalks during off hours. It is the responsibility of BGS to maintain these walkways during normal business hours.
