Specifications include, but are not limited to: provider who will furnish labor, equipment, and supplies to provide necessary services for the electrical system at LSTC, when needed. CONTRACTOR will be responsible for the completion of routine and/or random electrical service needs on the LSTC campus. Service response time shall be negotiable based on the nature of the issue at hand, however, there is potential for the need to have service available within one hour of the placement of order. CONTRACTOR must have facilities or service providers within a commuting distance to meet this requirement. Services shall include, but are not limited to: replacement and/or repairs of campus street light lamps; locating and repairing wiring, above and underground; location services when digging on campus is necessary; repair and maintenance of air handlers and relay switches in all buildings on campus and locations STATE is responsible for provision of this service at our supported living sites; ditch witch digging for underground breaks; maintenance and repair of all 480 volt issues on campus; medium voltage service; back-up generator transfer switch; electrical certifications, when requested; furnishing reports and recommendations to the facility, when requested, if CONTRACTOR feels the information is necessary; completion of wiring or rewiring where requested; provision for installation for all new electrical needs on campus; and service for emergent panels, heaters, motors, air conditioning needs, etc. as requested. CONTRACTOR shall provide and furnish all tools, equipment, and labor necessary for each visit. Materials shall be billed to STATE at CONTRACTOR’s cost +10% with receipt of invoice. Work shall be accomplished during normal business hours unless identified as emergency in nature. The CONTRACTOR shall furnish competent, skilled labor, and supervision to ensure that safety and quality standards are adhered to and implemented. STATE may provide support staff in situations where extra manpower is necessary without penalty. CONTRACTOR shall maintain current licensure and insurance at their own expense and provide copies to STATE.
