Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Houston-Victoria is seeking two vendors to provide various, as-needed heating,venting, air conditioning, and circulation (HVAC) services for its Victoria campus. Vendor will alsoprovide service for Preventive Maintenance for summer and winter needs. The successful bidder(s)shall provide all required equipment, materials, labor, and personnel to perform HVAC related servicesas required by the University. The intent is to have one primary and one secondary contractor, basedon best value evaluation. The primary contractor will always be called first for service. The secondarycontractor will be used in the event the primary contractor is unable to meet the needs of the University.Services required to be performed by successful vendor(s) include but are not limited to: electricaltroubleshooting of the chiller sensors and replacement of the sensors; replacement of reciprocating,scroll, screw type, hermetic and semi-hermetic compressors; find and repair duct leaks; service ofboiler for State inspection; service of portable A/C units; service of on-air handler units; knowledge inservice and replacement of variable speed drives for air handlers; perform or contract out air ductcleaning as needed; repair leaks in chill water and hot water systems in the HVAC; troubleshoot andservice electrical heating devices in HVAC system such as furnaces and Variable Air Volume (VAV)boxes.
