Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Written Translation: Translate a variety of educational materials, brochures, manuals, forms, newsletters, and other relevant documents from English to the target languages. Ensure translations are culturally sensitive, accurate, and maintain the original context. b. Interpretation: Provide in-person simultaneous translation for meetings, conferences, workshops, and other events as required by the District. Offer telephonic and video simultaneous translation services for real-time communication - both those scheduled in advance, as well as those unscheduled and unanticipated due to unforeseen circumstances that may require immediate action. c. Language Support: Offer language support and guidance to the District's staff to enhance communication with ESOL individuals effectively. d. Quality Assurance: Implement a rigorous quality control process to ensure all translated materials are error-free and culturally appropriate. Maintain a team of qualified, experienced, and certified translators and interpreters.
