Specifications include, but are not limited to: assist in the selection of the most cost-effective and comprehensive insurance coverages and services available with insurers who meet minimum rating requirements as approved by the District. The insurance broker shall negotiate for and obtain policies for the coverage required. The insurance broker shall also provide related services including; advice on the coverage program and its design, risk management support, assistance in loss prevention and control activities, benchmarking data, assistance with the filing of claims, review of insurance clauses and obtaining additional insured status for third parties. In addition, the Supplier shall be able to provide additional risk funding alternatives and discuss SIR options. The Supplier and its staff (as applicable), shall be licensed in the State of Nevada to conduct the business of insurance and act as a broker. The Supplier shall meet all insurance requirements listed in part 7.4 of this RFP. The Supplier’s team shall specialize in education and understand the unique issues a school district faces when managing its risk management program.
