Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following are typical of services that the Seismic Evaluation Team will provide under general direction of the Project Manager, in conformance with established procedures and standards of the profession and all applicable local regulations: 1. Develop seismic and structural resiliency criteria for evaluation of structures at TMWRF. 2. Identify the current relevant seismic design codes and standards and compare existing structures against these codes. 3. Conduct a structural integrity and seismic risk assessment of the structures present at the TMWRF Facility. The facility is mainly of concrete construction with some steel structure buildings built between 1964 and 2023. There are approximately 40 buildings, 13 galleries, and 40 tanks. 4. Provide a final report on the structures within the facility identifying their structural integrity and seismic risk including a list of deficiencies and a prioritized ranking of structures to be addressed. Typical duties may include, but are not limited to: • Review engineering plans, specifications, designs and/or physical locations of structures. • Identifying and reviewing regional seismic hazard data and current relevant seismic design codes and standards to select appropriate standards and exceedance probabilities for various structure types. • Evaluating the existing TMWRF structures against the seismic and risk standards/codes deemed appropriate. • Identify the relevant risk category levels for the different structures. • Provide a prioritized list of structures that require upgrades in order to withstand an anticipated seismic event based on local seismic probabilities.
