Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1 Placing Accounts a) The Consultant shall accept all accounts placed by the City under terms of the Contract. b) The City plans to place delinquent accounts immediately upon authorization of the contract, with additional accounts placed monthly as they become delinquent. The City reserves the right to place individual delinquent accounts on demand as needed. c) The number of accounts placed with the Consultant shall be solely within the discretion of the City. d) Prior to placing an account for collection with the Consultant, the City may pursue any and all methods of collection deemed appropriate by the City and may inform the Debtor that failure to make payment could result in placing account for collection with the Consultant. e) The City reserves the right to second-place accounts with the Consultant. The City shall identify all second-place accounts and provide the Consultant with all available history of collection attempts on second-place accounts.
