Specifications include, but are not limited to: TASK 1 – Aeronautical Survey The Consultant shall provide an Airspace Obstruction Chart (AOC) Survey and Airport Layout Plan (ALP) Survey in accordance with Table 2.1 of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5300-18. Specific survey requirements will be determined by the Department. Data collected will include, but is not limited to, aerial photography, runway end positions, runway vertical profiles, positions and elevations of navigational aids (NAVAIDS), positions and elevations of obstructions, and accurately positioned airport geodetic control. All survey services shall be conducted by, or under, the direct supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) holding current registration in the State of Alaska. The PLS shall be an active, on-site field supervisor of the survey crew. The survey plan and reports, field books, horizontal and vertical control summaries, adjusted coordinates, and all final maps and plats shall be sealed, signed, and certified by the PLS responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the services. Task 2 - Airport Layout Plan (ALP) Update The Consultant shall update the current ALP per FAA SOP number 2 for Standard Procedures for FAA Review and Approval of Airport Layout Plans. New topographic, planimetric, and obstruction data shall be shown on the ALP. Task 3 – Airport Property Plan Update Consultant shall complete Exhibit “A” and Airport Property Plan drawings meeting the requirements of FAA Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) number 3 for FAA Review of Exhibit ‘A’ Airport Property Inventory Maps. The standards for developing Exhibit A and Airport Property Plan drawings are per FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-17, Land Acquisition and Relocation Assistance for Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Assisted Projects. Additional applicable regulations, policy, and guidance are outlined in the FAA SOP No. 3. Task 4: Survey Services The Contractor will provide design and planimetric surveys. Services required include, but not limited to, design surveys for civil improvements, potential boundary surveys, and records of survey.
