Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Collect information from local and socially disadvantage farmers and producers and food hubs on all islands statewide for available produce during school intersessions. 2. Expand procurement and solicitation pathways for procuring local foods. 3. Expand purchasing of local foods through contracts with food hubs and socially disadvantaged local farmers on Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Kauai, Lanai and Niihau that specify procurement of local food only. 4. Ensure food safety certification for the protection of students and families. 5. Explore or expand opportunities to work with food hubs and/or community partners for logistical support for the delivery of food or produce boxes. 6. Expand consumption of healthy local produce to underserved communities
