Specifications include, but are not limited to: Insects to be Controlled: Insects to be controlled will include roaches, silverfish, fleas, crickets, spiders, ants (excluding pharaoh and carpenter) and gnats. Periodic or seasonal infestations will be handled on an on- call basis such as power spraying the perimeter of each building or fogging for gnats. Bed Bugs: The Contractor must be able to identify bed bugs and treat for them. A separate charge will apply for these situations. Rodent control will include the effective control of rats and mice in all buildings as well as perimeter control of burrows on the agency grounds. Buildings #729, and 731 at Forbes Field require rodent control services only. Termite control is not considered part of this contract. However, if observed by contractor personnel, any active termite infestation shall be immediately reported to the Office of Facilities and Property Management (OFPM) and shall be documented in the monthly service statement. This contract will allow for quotes for this service if the parties decide that application is needed. Outside Perimeter: Outside perimeter treatment will be performed monthly for March through November. If required, outside perimeter treatment will be performed December through February. Additional treatment of perimeter area around building by power spraying or granular application three (3) times per year (early spring, mid-summer, and early fall) will be an optional item. A separate charge will apply for these situations. Pricing for light traps, glue boards and aerosol sprays for use when Contractor is not on site is included. Pricing should include charges for installation and for regular monthly service. Callback: The contractor will make additional treatments as deemed necessary by the user agency. Telephone contact for callbacks must be within two (2) hours and callback service will be rendered within one (1) business day of request. Callback service shall include office space in each building and be considered part of this contract and as such shall be included in the monthly fee at no additional charge.
