KCI 60050 FREEDOM V.A.C Unit or equal. 3.1.1.1 Canister must have a capacity to hold at least 280ml, but not more than 315ml. 3.1.1.2 Unit must have an 120v power supply cord. 3.1.1.3 Height of unit must be minimum 4” and maximum 5” 3.1.1.4 Width of unit must be minimum 8” and maximum 9”. 3.1.1.5 Depth of unit must be minimum 9” and maximum 10”. 3.1.1.6 Unit must have an easy-to-read LCD menu interface that allows selection of negative pressure wound therapy. 3.1.1.7 Unit must have an a/c and battery power indicator on the control panel. 3.1.1.8 Unit must have a minimum of (12- hour) battery life. 3.1.1.9 Unit must weigh no more than (10) pounds. 3.1.1.10 Canister must have a sterile fluid path, tubing, clamp, and connectors. 3.1.1.11 Unit must be portable with a carry bag. 3.1.1.12 Unit must have a real time pressure feedback system that adjusts pump output that compensates for wound distance, wound position and exudating characteristics of the wound. 3.1.1.13 Unit must have low pressure, leak, and canister full audio alarms to help ensure patient safety and assist staff in providing care. 3.1.1.14 Unit must have an adjustable rate of dressing draw down intensity for increased comfort. 3.1.1.15 Unit must have the integrated therapy of action for delivery of a negative pressure through the V.A.C. system or equal. 3.1.1.16 Unit must have pressure setting ranges from minimum -50mmHG to maximum 200mmHg. 3.1.1.17 Unit must have standard pressure default setting of 125mmHg minimum on continuous mode. 3.1.1.18 Unit must utilize V.A.C Granufoam dressings, or equal, to maintain a wound environment that promotes healing.
