Specifications include, but are not limited to: Monitoring systems designed in this project will allow the program to quickly evaluate dam operating status during and following flood events, monitor unusual loading conditions, and provide early warning notification for identified dam safety concerns. The Dams included in this project are; Task 1: Kickoff Meeting & Document Review: Kickoff Meeting at National Life building or virtual by request. This meeting will be to develop lines of communication between the selected firm and the DSP along with discussing project schedule and goals. Document Review: The firm will be provided with all available files related to the dams for this project. DSP is expecting the consultant to review and identify data/document gaps and to present this information in a brief Document Review Report. Deliverables – Meeting Minutes, Document Review Report Task 2: Field Work – Site Evaluation, Monitoring Well Condition Assessment, and Existing Equipment Condition Assessment The firm shall describe their approach to perform the requested field services. The DSP is envisioning visiting all 14 dams with the firm to collect any required information needed to perform the evaluations and designs. If site evaluations are not required to perform the design and evaluation services, please describe the alternative approach in the proposal. A monitoring well condition assessment for Waterbury and Wrightsville should be performed.
