Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bid Price is for demolition and haul away of existing chain-link fence and gates, and installing new 6-foot-high fencing, automatic gates with magnetic loops, and walk-through gates. All materials and labor are to be included to complete the scope of work. The Bid shall be inclusive of all excavating needed to install fencing, gates, electric, keypad, bollards (8 total), and all necessary saw cuts and removal/replacement of paving required for installation. Relocating a set of stairs leading to the air quality control station shall also be included in the bid. All other labor and materials to satisfactory complete the scope shall be included. The fence shall be black vinyl coated chain-link 6 foot high with barbs folded down on top and posts placed in concrete. Post shall be 2 ½ inch line post with 4-inch end post, and 4-inch walk-gate posts. End post and walk gate post shall be schedule 80. Posts shall be centered in holes sized at least four times the diameter and ½ of the exposed height of the posts and filled in with concrete. All posts are to be black, factory finish. Drive gates shall have posts and footings sized of sufficient depth, width, and gauge to support each drive gate without any deflection, movement, or mechanical assistance. Absolutely no wheel of any sort is to be placed to relieve the stress of the gate’s weight. The drive gate post and footings must completely support the gate’s weight without assistance. Posts are to be black, factory finish. A hardwired button shall be installed to control the drive gates located on the East side of the building, and the button will be installed in the Controls Office.
