Specifications include, but are not limited to: MaSU, in conjunction with an architectural firm, has determined that a complete renovation of all interior and exterior elements of Old Main is required. MaSU is looking to renovate the building to improve academic functionality, aesthetics, ADA, safety and mechanical efficiencies. We request the services of an architect to work with in developing a full design and construction documents for the project. The Owner is requesting architectural design services to renovate Old Main including the following: Phase I – Basic design and cost estimate: Building envelope and exterior renovation, soil and structural testing and design Basic Schematic pre-design of Old Main interior. Schematic plan for exterior renovation and landscaping. Cost estimates of the design plans. Conceptual artwork of the design plans. Relocation planning and design for temporary facilities for instruction and offices. Phase II – Final Design and Construction Plan and bidding, Construction Full Design and construction documents for the Old Main renovation interior and exterior and landscaping. Full design and implementation of relocation plan. Development of plans and specifications to be used for the solicitation of bids as per North Dakota Century Code (NDCC) chapter 48-01.2.
