Specifications include, but are not limited to: Upgrading the Dover, NH WWTF aeration blowers. The major proposed work under this Contract includes: 1. Installation: a. Two Pre-purchased blowers and two VFDs; 2. Construction of: a. Modification to existing blower equipment pads to accommodate new blower footprint; b. Removing blower acoustical enclosure and other components as needed and moving the blower from where the blower’s are stored on site into the Blower Building. The Blower Building has an electric hoist within the room available to assist. Once in position contractor will need to reassemble the blower per manufacturer’s direction. c. Provide electrical components and install owner supplied VFDs; d. Modifications to the existing PLC-based Control Panel; e. Integration of controls by SCADA Integrator; f. Piping, instrumentation, control and electrical systems, as indicated on the Drawings. g. Other appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 3. Demolition of: a. Piping and conduit as required for installation of new equipment and as shown on the Drawings; b. Existing concrete equipment pad exposed nuts and bolts as needed for installation of blowers and new concrete infill pad as indicated on the Drawings; c. Demolish existing two blowers including VFD and VFD filters. Contractor shall take extra caution to preserve the condition of Blowers No. 1 & 2 (B-1, -2), VFDs, and VFD filters during demolition and turn blowers and equipment over to the City. d. Remove existing HSI Control Panel as indicated on the drawings. Remove panel in reusable condition and turn over to the City. e. Contractor to relocate the removed blowers, control panels, and associated electrical equipment on the WWTF site as directed by the Owner. 4. Other removals/demolitions as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 5. Maintain plant flow and treatment processes as detailed in Part 3 of this section. 6. Remove and/or relocate equipment as indicated on the Drawings.
