Specifications include, but are not limited to: Access Control The cable shall be of type ADC 9950 EZ Access Control Cable or similar in quality and ratings. Alternates will be accepted with the submittal of the product cut sheet and quote. Cable shall be run from IDF 122 to indicated locations. The exact breakout of cable at those locations will be discussed with the awarded bidder during a site survey prior to beginning rough-in. A total of 15 door locations on print. Bidder shall provide full turnkey installation of all equipment necessary to make the system functional. All door locations shall include a card reader and tie-in to provided electronic door hardware to be provided by the general contractor. The bid form includes a list of requested manufacturer/model numbers for specific items. Cameras Single Cat6 run from IDF 122 to marked locations. Termination on the patch panel and label on the cable end to match the patch panel port number. Cameras will be provided by the City of Bowling Green for installation. Data/Phone – Other Cabling All data/phone cabling shall be certified Category 6 or better. Bidder shall provide all labor/materials to run and terminate all of the data/phone locations. A 48 port rack mountable patch panel shall be provided along with all necessary cabling, hardware, jacks, plates, labels, testing/certification, and any other materials not listed but that is required to complete the project. Labels on plates shall reflect the patch panel port identification number. Patch panels shall be QuickPort flat 48-port panels similar to Leviton 49255-H48 with inserts provided to fill all ports and any spares left in the bottom of the rack cabinet after completion. All plates and jacks shall be Leviton or similar QuickPort plates with respective inserts. Blue inserts shall be used on all wall plates and panels shall be black inserts. Inserts shall be rated and certified Category 6. Other Devices Four exterior phone stations with a single Category 6 to IDF 122 will be needed for each location. Termination on the patch panel and label on the cable end to match the patch panel port number. Televisions TV locations shall be provided a single RG6 Quad Shield cable from IDF 122. See prints for locations. Cabling and installation of wall plates will be provided by the bidder as well as fittings terminated at the Mezzanine Board. No splitters or hardware, other than termination, is required; IDF only termination. Wires shall be labeled on each end with identifying numbers in IDF and on the wall plate.
