Specifications include, but are not limited to: Support FPR to produce the 2024 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). The SCORP will update the current 2018 plan and will be active for four years (2025-2028). The 2024 SCORP is part of a larger vision, facilitated by FPR, to align outdoor recreation priorities across the outdoor recreation community, including trail and land managers, outdoor recreation businesses, and outdoor recreation users. The Vermont Outdoor Recreation Economic Collaborative (VOREC) is updating its Action Plan in the same time period as the 2024 SCORP and the processes are designed to complement each other. The primary objectives of the 2024 SCORP Process will be to: 1. Combine with the VOREC Action Plan to create a shared vision and priorities for outdoor recreation in Vermont. 2. Assess the current assets, opportunities and challenges for outdoor recreation in Vermont. 3. Incorporate input from a broad, inclusive, and diverse constituency of Vermonters in envisioning the future for outdoor recreation. 4. Set up a process for sustainably updating the SCORP in the future. 5. Serve as a tool to prioritize outdoor recreation grant funding for the plan’s time period.
