Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contactor must create high quality NWIPlus level mapping in Vermont. The Contractor will complete NWIPlus mapping for the Basin 3: Otter Creek, Little Otter Creek and Lewis Creek Basin, Basin 8: Winooski River Basin, and the Pike River Watershed within Basin 6. During the contract period, the contractor may be asked to complete additional NWIPlus mapping in another portion of Vermont. The finished primary products will be in the form of a FGDC compliant GIS shapefile with attributes. The selected Contractor will be provided base data such as wetland mapping conducted by the Vermont Natural Heritage Inventory and Wetland Program staff; high-resolution landcover mapping, LiDAR and Colorinfrared imagery, historic NWI and Vermont Significant Wetland Inventory (VSWI) mapping, mapping of hydric soils; and wetland mapping from select towns. The Contractor will be able to use the Wetland Program’s project files of past mapping and wetland location information. Draft NWI mapping of basin 3,8 and 6 will be made available to the Contractor.
