Specifications include, but are not limited to: Discipline B Professional Civil and land surveying Engineering Services: Design documents, construction documents, bidding and construction administration for subdivision development, scattered sites, subdivisions, site improvements and recreation areas. Perform land surveying, site planning, structural designs, roadways, parking areas, drainage studies, construction contract administration, certification of surveys, designs, and other related work. Discipline C Professional Geotechnical Engineering Services: Subsurface investigations required for foundation design and building construction. These investigations include installing test borings and test pits, field soil strength analyses during subsurface investigations and Geotechnical Reports. Reports shall address investigation procedures and recommendations for foundation systems and viable construction alternatives relating to subsurface conditions that may be encountered. Discipline D Professional Mechanical Engineering Services: Replacement, repair and upgrade designs of HVAC systems, cooling towers, chillers, controls, air conditioning installation, plumbing repairs and replacement designs, and heating system designs. Discipline E Professional Electrical Engineering Services: Evaluation and design of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and transformers. Designs for electrical repair, installation and replacement of electrical systems, fire protection systems, elevator controls and other electrical systems in house and other facilities. Discipline F Professional Structural Engineering Services: Perform professional structural engineering services for design and construction of said systems to be determined in housing and other facilities. Conduct preliminary investigations and reports; prepare preliminary and final estimates. Perform detailed design of project; prepare construction drawings, specifications, and contract/bid documents. Assist in bid proposal and bid openings. Monitor and report on construction activities.
