Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.) Remove all old backer-rod and caulking.2.) High pressure water blast all areas with a minimum 3500 – 5000 lbs. psi at the tip at a rate of 3to 5 gallons/minute, utilizing an orbital tip and TSP detergent additive to remove chalk, loose paintand other contaminants, followed by a clean water rinse.3.) Abrasive (sweep) blast or mechanically abrade all areas where coating has failed, payingspecial attention to joints and cracks that were repaired on the initial coating installation andprovide a ICRI CSP 2-4 and ensure all remaining concrete is sound4.) Feather all edges to provide a smooth transition.5.) Assure that all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of any contaminants. Route all cracks toachieve a V-shaped groove. Apply Tnemec Series 215 Surfacing Epoxy to all static cracks andvoids. Larger applications may require multiple applications. See Product Data Sheet for curingand recoat times
