Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Removal of UST - Decommission of 1 (one), 6000-gallon fuel tank • Request dig line for utility contractor and mark site • Coordination with DEQ and Fire Marshall • Submit SOW to Boise Fire Department for approval prior to excavation • Contractor to provide all necessary equipment for removal of UST and materials • Rinse tank per DEQ requirements, dispose of all containments per DEQ requirements • Fill tank with CO2 for Fire Marshall inspection • Meet DEQ soil excavations requirements for soil sampling • Soil Testing to be provided by contractor • Ensure soil sampling for supply pipe – Must meet DEQ requirements (20 FT) • Ensure proper compaction of new fill (special testing required) • Replace asphalt • Work to be completed during regular business hours (7:30 AM-5:00 PM) • Contractor will be responsible for disposing of all waste materials • Ada County Operations will provide security for this project. The security liaison will coordinate with the Contractor access times and tool inventory. • All persons working inside the Ada County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) facility must pass a background check. This background check will be provided at no cost to the Contractor. • The Owner will occupy the site during the entire project. Cooperate with the Owner during the project to minimize the conflicts and facilitate owner usage. Perform the work so as not to interfere with the Owner’s operations. • Work is to meet all applicable DEQ and Boise City Building Code requirements • Bidders shall be licensed in the State of Idaho in accordance with the Public Works Contractor Act, Idaho Code, Title 54, Chapter 19.
