Specifications include, but are not limited to: The repair of the four (4) Shrimp Docks and bulkheads located at 2633 Causeway Boulevard, Tampa, FL. The Shrimp Dock facility was constructed circa 1980 and has severe corrosion-related deterioration consistent with a 40+ year old structure exposed to the harsh marine environment. The project includes repair of the following: 1. Dock Repairs: Replacement of deteriorated 14-inch square prestressed concrete piles, installation of cathodic protection jackets at 14-inch square concrete piles, concrete spall repair at piles, pile caps and deck slabs, and replacement of concrete deck slabs at the Docks; 2. Building Foundation Repairs: Installation of cathodic protection jackets at 12-inch square concrete piles at the buildings. 3. Steel Bulkhead Repairs: Concrete spall repair at the bulkhead cap, replacement of timber chocks and timber fender piles, blast cleaning, welded plate repairs, and recoating of steel sheet piles above Mean Low Water elevation, welded plate repairs below water, and installation of galvanic anodes at the steel sheet pile bulkhead. 4. Concrete Bulkhead Repairs: Concrete spall repair at the concrete sheet piles and bulkhead cap.
