Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rock Region METRO is a public transit system in central Arkansascarrying more than 2.5 million passenger trips per year in the cities of Little Rock, North LittleRock, and across Pulaski County. It is comprised of four branches: METRO Local, a fixed-route bus service serving Pulaski County; METRO Streetcar, a rail system operating in LittleRock and North Little Rock; METRO Connect, an on-demand micro-transit service servingspecified “zones” in Pulaski County; and METRO Links, an on-demand paratransit service.METRO’s current payroll system is an antiquated and cumbersome manual process.Currently there are three software systems used for various purposes and by varyingdepartments/staff members to report to Human Resources the number and types of hoursemployees worked during a pay period. Human Resources then reviews the data andsummarizes it in a report that is submitted to accounting to enter into Sage, where checks areeither manually printed or submitted to Regions Bank (METRO’s banking provider) for directdeposit.
