Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be done under the contract consists of the following: 1. At culverts located at MP 20.58, 20.68, 20.75, 20.87, 20.95, 21.55 along I84 WB “B” lane: a. Saw cut Asphalt Concrete along length of culvert to include areas where base has failed. b. Remove Asphalt Concrete and base material to depth of top of culvert. c. Replace material with Class B ¾” – 0 crushed rock compacted in 6” lifts. d. Sawcut the asphalt on both sides of the trench a minimum of 12 inches wider than each top of the trench. e. Resurface trench with Level 3 – ½ inch Dense Grade ACP in 2” lifts to match existing pavement thickness. 2. Grind and inlay 100-ft sections in I84 WB “B” lane to incorporate resurfaced trenches into road. Grind and inlay shall be inside permeant longitudinal pavement markings. a. Cold Plane ACP removal 2” depth inside permanent pavement markings as specified. b. Pave 2” depth inlay. Level 3 – ½ inch Dense Grade ACP. 3. Contractor will provide traffic control for the project. 4. Contractor will be responsible for temporary pavement markings. 5. ODOT will be responsible for permanent pavement markings.
