Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project Goals are related to the existing Hess Reservoir System which provides finished water to Hess High Service Pump Station to: Provide safe, adequate, uninterrupted water supply to the residents of the City Ensure the safety of the public, City employees, the Project, and Facilities Provide high quality drinking water services to the public Minimize customer rate increases Zero exceedances of regulatory limits In the Project design and construction: Reduce areas of aged water to the greatest extent possible Alter the three major reservoirs of the system to create a flow through status at all times possible. Power Actuate with SCADA remote operability certain valves to allow for changes based on water demand. Sound design and quality construction for long‐term operational reliability Coordinate efforts with Water Production Division maintenance operations Coordinate efforts with the NWWF Project which will connect to the finished water piping system. Coordinate efforts with the project to replace valves in the finished water system and Hess Reservoirs Coordinate with other projects in the area, including but not limited to, projects involving the parking lots which currently exist over some Hess Reservoirs. High degree of coordination between design, construction, operation, and maintenance elements Compliance with all applicable regulations No interruption of supply of water to the customers of the utility nor interruption of available fire flows
