Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids for the overlay of approximately two parking lots of City buildings within the City of Bowling Green. The first parking lot is the Public Works Fleet Division located at 611 Raven Avenue. This parking lot is approximately 70,000 square feet. Work shall include milling around all curbs, sidewalks, aprons, etc., installation of 1.5” asphalt surface, and new parking lot striping. Parking stops shall also be removed and re-set. The second parking lot is the F.O. Moxley Community Center located at 225 E. 3rd Ave. This parking lot is approximately 38,500 square feet. The scope of work is the same as the Fleet Division. Note: there is a trench drain running along the Kentucky Street Side that will require milling. This parking lot needs to be completed in sections or at night in order to maintain normal daily business operations. Alternate #1: Alternate #1 is for the resurfacing of the Community Action parking lot located at 171 Center Street. This parking lot is approximately 17,500 square feet. The scope of work for this parking lot shall be the same as the other two.
