All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Structural Integrity: Evaluate the condition of the buildings, including the foundation, walls, roofs, and overall structural integrity. 2. Safety Features: Assess the presence and effectiveness of safety measures such as fire detection and suppression systems, emergency exits, cameras, and security systems. 3. Accessibility: Evaluate the accessibility of the facilities for students, staff, and visitors with disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant accessibility standards, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act. 4. Outdoors: Evaluate the structural integrity and accessibility of any outdoor recreation areas including but not limited to playgrounds and athletic facilities. Evaluate site drainage and overall condition of the grounds to include parking lots, sidewalks, and other paved areas. 5. Code Compliance: Verify compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and applicable standards. 6. Systems Assessment: Evaluate the functionality and condition of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security. 7. Space Utilization: Assess the adequacy of instructional spaces, common areas, and support facilities to accommodate the current and future needs of the district. 8. Deferred Maintenance: Identify any deferred maintenance issues that may affect the performance and longevity of the facilities.
