Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking software that will allow the City to plan new and modify existing fixed-service routes including the ability to deal with interlining and block scheduling and see their impact on different demographical data; understand financial, operational, demographic and ridership impacts of existing or altered fixed route services; creating rosters/schedules/run-bids for drivers to bid on every three months; optimize use of current resources and suggest more efficient use of drivers, buses, or other related criteria; and schedule drivers to fill open work due to planned and unplanned absences based on union, state, and federal rules and ensure that all work has a driver assigned to it.
