Specifications include, but are not limited to: All removal and demolition work will be completed by in-kind donations and/or by Parks Dept personnel. Site furnishings such as benches and bike racks will be purchased and installed by Owner. Demolition and Site Furnishings Plans have been included for reference only. There are several in-kind donations of labor and materials that will require coordination between Contractor, Donor, and Parks Staff. Bid scope work includes trenching, conduit, and electrical service to 12 qty. light poles and associated footings and junction boxes; Reclaimed light poles supplied by owner, Contractor to install footing, poles with new lighting components and power supply connections. Replacement of electrical panel enclosure and new meter backboard will be installed through in-kind donations; Contractor to coordinate with Donors and Parks Staff. Contractor to provide water service supply to two drinking fountains. Approx. 490 LF of 1-inch diameter waterline, 1" curb stop, (2 qty.) quick couplers. Direction boring under existing roadway is included. Drinking fountains will be provided by Owner, Contractor to mount and provide water service connections. Contractor will be responsible for approx. 600 LF 4" perforated drain tile that connects to existing storm structure, all fittings, valves and appurtenances. Sleeves shall be provided under pavement for electrical conduit, water service, and drain tile pipe. Also included is the installation of new play equipment by a certified installer. Play equipment will be provided on-site by Owner. Contractor will be responsible for approx. 1063 SY of 5" PCC walkways and 83 SY of 8" PCC parking pavement, and 145 LF of PCC curb. Related work includes erosion control, traffic control, surface restoration and other miscellaneous work. Landscaping and pavement striping will be installed by Owner.
