Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must be available for tree work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and shall respond to Louisville Metro staff within 1 (one) hour following notification, to provide schedule and timeline of tree work. Once the contractor is notified about a tree, the work shall be completed within two (2) business days. An extension of this deadline may only be granted by Metro. Stumps shall be removed no later than 15 business days from the work completion date. An extension of this deadline may only be granted by Metro. The contractor shall carefully select, train and instruct their personnel on the performance of work operation. The contractor will be fully responsible for all personnel and liable for their actions, including possession, verification and maintenance of any/all applicable and/or required individual qualifications, licenses, or certifications (such as for electrical related work) required by any agency having jurisdiction over any aspect of the contract work. Due to the specific needs for the tree and/ or stump removal, Metro may seek to enter into an agreement with multiple contractors to ensure availability and response in the event of an emergency. The award of this contract does not preclude Metro from employing additional contractors to perform disaster debris management and removal of trees or any other disaster debris-related services.
