Specifications include, but are not limited to: The AMHD is seeking a vendor to instruct Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for up to fifty participants on Kauai, Hawai’i. The training will be used to enhance the Department of Health’s community-based programs that bring together law enforcement, mental health professionals, advocates, individuals living with mental illness and their families, and other partners to improve community responses to people experiencing mental health crises. Targeted partnerships for training are in line with the Sequential Intercept Model and will include but not limited to the following: law enforcement, jail entry and diversion staff, emergency services, adult client services, and forensic peer specialists.
