Specifications include, but are not limited to: • The company shall provide photo documentation of the salvage site as well as the debris that was removed including the keel, and shall be submitted with the invoice once the job is completed. • Each bidder shall conduct their due diligence prior to bidding on the vessel’s removal. • The company shall be in compliance with all Federal, State and County rules and laws. • The company shall take the necessary precautions to mitigate any release of oil, fuel and other contaminates when removing the grounded vessel, if applicable. • A HAZWOPER 40 Certificate may be required if there are any hazard materials that need to be removed. • The company shall take the necessary precautions to prevent damage to any of the surrounding areas while removing the vessel. • This solicitation does not require a contractor’s license. • All bidders must be HCE (Hawaii Compliance Express) Compliant at the time of award. • All bidders are required to provide proof of insurance at the time of bid. Any bid received without proof of insurance will not be valid.
